Biography
Theodora Raftis is a promising soprano from Cyprus. She has won numerous awards, most notably she is a Prize Winner of the Cavalli Monteverdi International Baroque Opera Singing Competition 2023, 3rd Prize Winner of the Cesti International Singing Competition for Baroque Opera 2019, 3rd Prize Winner of the Otto Edelmann International Singing Competition 2019 and 2nd Prize Winner of the József Simándy International Singing Competition 2016. While a student at the University of Music & Performing Arts Vienna, she made her debut in some of the world’s most prestigious venues and international festivals, whilst her engagements include performances in Europe, Asia and America. Theodora has sung alongside several acclaimed artists such as Andreas Scholl. Collaborations with renowned conductors include George Petrou, Jos van Veldhoven and Federico Maria Sardelli. Whereas the versatility of her voice allows her to expand her repertoire from classical music to musical theatre.
